    Patterned Graphene Based on Self-Assembled Microsphere 04/2019- 10/2019
    Characterize different two-dimensional materials with different layers by using Raman spectroscopy.
    Prepared graphene samples and BN samples by mechanical exfoliation and used dry-transfer to obtain the van der Waals heterostructure and check the samples with SEM.
    Created pattern on the graphene and encapsulated it with hBN (hexagonal Boron Nitride) and used E-beam lithography to add electrodes to create devices which used as sensor for gas-sensing.
    Investigated the Moiré superlattice with the engineered band structure created by patterned graphene.
    Electronic Structures and Elastic Properties of Perovskites 06/2017- 10/2018
    Used Diamond to draw the crystal structure of perovskite, learned Density Functional Theory (DFT), and used MATLAB to compute the elastic properties of a novel perovskite which was claimed to possess outstanding piezoelectric effect by previous publications.
    Helped synthesize the 1D helical coordination polymers to successfully achieve resolution of chiral nitrogen atom.
    Helped synthesize chemicals and conducted x-ray diffraction measurement of the chemical structures, and used DFT to obtain its microstructure under high pressure.
    Nano-devices Made by Two-dimensional Materials 07/2018- 02/2019
    Took Hammers approach to synthesize graphene oxide, blended it with cellulose to create graphene oxide aerogels, which has excellent electric conductivity.
    Combined the graphene oxide aerogels and RFID electronic tag to propose a device for pressure detection in building constructions.
