I am a great motivator and confidence booster. I encourage students to trust themselves, the process, and work interdependently. I am task oriented and meet deadlines. I am able to remain focused throughout the duration whether or not the work is stimulating or tedious. I am a person who pays careful attention to all the details. Last but not least, I am well organized, patient, and resilient.
I believe reading and writing opens vortices in the imagination. Exploiting these literary devices creates cells that birth new possibilities and allow us to explore multiple planes while marking time.
Consequently, I will read prescribed documents to look for errors and correct them in accordance to provided instructions. I will ensure that each document follows a prescribed house style. I will confirm that documents are legible and do not contain any unverified information. I will make sure that content portrays intended message.
Over the course of ten years, I have worked in public/private secondary school settings, language centers, and universities (abroad) with primary responsibility for teaching students ranging from 12-45 years old.
Where necessary, I have covered holidays and leave for my colleagues. I have also devoted a majority of my personal time outside school hours with students, who either needed after school support or participated in extra-curricular activities. I have found my role both fulfilling and rewarding.
As part of my career development, I am interested in continuing and improving my instruction, proofreading, and editing with young adults and middle aged learners within the academic realm.
