Writing skill has always been a key to unlock so many opportunities either in the academic or career fields. Possessing the advanced level of writing skill has also led me to unlock so many opportunities thus; my skill can also be a key to unlock the same for many others. In order pursue and attain more expertise skills, currently I am doing PhD in Law of the Sea at the South China Sea Institute of Xiamen University, China. Upon receiving the Chinese Government Marine Scholarship on first class basis, I have started my journey to the Doctorate program in the year of 2018. Prior to the commencement of the course, I was engaged in research work as a Research Assistant at the Bangladesh Institute of law and International Affairs (BILIA). Therefore, my major work was related to research and writing. In addition, in the current program, the major assessment will be made on my research writing work. Thus, it is very essential to bring lucidity in my academic writing which shall be in English, and I have always devoted myself in academic writing works some of which have already been published.
Additionally, before getting enrolled for the PhD program, I have successfully completed LLM in Maritime Law from the BSMR Maritime University holding first class second position in the merit list. Apart from this, my academic qualifications includes majorly MSS specialized with Victimology and Restorative Justice from the University of Dhaka; Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from the University of Dhaka and LLB (Hons) from the University of London (UK). Besides my academic qualification, I have also experienced practical work experience in multidisciplinary fields. Starting with Pupilage getting promoted as Associate at legal Chambers to work as a researcher at the well known research Institutes and NGOs, I have always been active both in study and attaining work experiences.
While working under the Bangladesh Institute of law and International Affairs (BILIA) as a research assistant of Law division, my primary tasks included proofreading of manuscripts, preparing research reports, analysing data and drafting opinion. Furthermore, I am also involved with Justice Watch Foundation as a Project Consultant and under this role my responsibilities include preparing project proposals, giving opinion, planning work structure and so on. Besides these, I am also working as an editorial team member for the South Asian Journal of Law and Policy where proofreading is one of the key responsibilities. Moreover, I am a contributing writer for the Daily newspaper called Our Time. Thus, it is very much apparent that proofreading and writing papers are basic tasks of my daily life and I have also succeeded in securing scholarships, academic admissions and career positions through writing papers and appearing for written exams. Therefore, I believe I can also contribute for securing the same for others.
