Been living abroad since I was 17, I have a creative mind and enjoy designing and story telling. I am doing my master's at Tsinghua University in Global Business Journalism. I've lived in China for the past 7 years and I love it here. I would love to help students find the right angle for their applications, I seek to elevate their uniqueness with my own creativity.
I've been editing for Chinese students in the last two year, my main goal was to create compelling stories without disregarding the student's own ideas. I feel that most of the time their English is not the main issue, but the lack of life experience they suffer. I am a journalist and creative writer, and I like to combine my skills to portray the most interesting and "worthwhile" side of each applicant. So if you want to express yourself in an outstanding manner, I'm your guy! *Wink* (P.S I'm quite professional and friendly)
I myself been in the shoes of these applicants, I came to China and did my bachelor's and master's so I understand the process very well, especially since I've lived in the US for about 3 years. I've been guiding students for the past two years at Lighthouse Academy, and I managed to have good results. I find that most essays are boring to read and lack charisma, and that's what I can offer, good old fashioned charms.
